BLOG Welcome to our humble blog, where you will see us post a whole bunch of random things. If you are looking for amazing pieces of wisdom, this is probably the last place you should look. ;-)Great t-shirt![]() A few people come to mind here. Perhaps we should send them one of these shirts? Could you do that?![]() This young artist is grabbing a lot of attention by the likes of CBS and other American news outlets. Stephen Wiltshire has been drawing cities since being diagnosed with autism at a young age, saying it’s his way to express himself. What’s unique about this artist though is that all he needs is a 20 minute helicopter ride above New York and after 7 days, 12 pens, and a lot of music on his ipod, he finishes the massive 18 ft accurate depiction of the city all from memory. He’s so accurate that when drawing Rome, he drew the exact number of columns in the Pantheon. Cool eh? Translation Fail![]()
Interesting nobody used Google Translate on this one! Marketing 101 guys, does your brand sound weird in a new market? Um, it does in New Zealand.
"Hey mate, you feel like a Plopp?" "Not really, but cheers for asking." Valentines Surprise![]() Perceptive's Senior Project Manager Glen Wright got a nice Valentines Day surprise from his wife Carol. Its not everyday you see a cute message from your wife..... on a billboard!! Beat that next year Glen ;-) Yum....![]() Sometimes an image can be more persuasive than at other times. As at right now, no imagery could ever be more persuasive than this one right here. I could stare at this for hours. There is nothing I would rather look at, in this world, than this image right here. It has excitement, intrigue and even a hint of provocativeness. Or am I projecting these emotions on to this image. I just can't say. Either way, I really want a Mars bar right now. Nostalgia from 1999Ahhh 1999. We remember you with this tribute! Here we are 12 years later, and this song is still the business! So true!![]() Sometimes no caption is needed. This is one of those times. Get your dance on.....do it.Just because you can share a video of yourself dancing around your living room, through Skype, on your iPhone, doesn't mean you should...... Oh go on then. Naughty Naughty![]() Slingshot are in the media again today, for dodgy marketing practices. Imagine what the folks at Power Marketing are doing right now!! Very sloppy indeed. (insert Jaws theme song here). Telecom are coming for you. Da da da da da da da da da da How to dance to dubstep
This clip is awesome. Only wish I could bust out moves like that. Kristo Fallas has been known to replicate this little guy, but we usually have to lubricate his joints with single malt whiskey and a decent Cuban cigar.
Mr Potato Head![]()
This song has been destroyed by two things. This little potato guy, and the even more disturbing YouTube clip of the lady crushing things with her boobs. I am not posting the clip on this blog, but if you really really want to see it click here. FAB - Name and ShameGood on this guy for naming and shaming the opportunistic retailers who think its a good idea to take advantage of Queenslanders at their lowest point. On what planet is it OK to charge almost $10 for a litre of Milk? Flood or no flood. Ridiculous. Sending you good Karma from Auckland, New Zealand. Keep your chin up. Give it a ponder
It always pays to think things through. A bit like doing research. The beard is key. We are lucky enough to have Daniel Shaw, who's luxurious man matt is a permanent fixture on his chin. He exhibits similar facial expressions also, which is how we know he is onto something.
Perceptive People![]() Perceptive people are friendly, approachable everyday kiwi's who like gobbling BurgerFuel and drinking Woodstock Bourbon & Cola - the flash bottles, not the cans. |
