ATTITUDE NZ

"PROVIDING ATTITUDINAL INTELIGENCE TO OVER 700 NEW ZEALAND MARKETERS"

Attitude New Zealand is a FREE resource for New Zealand marketers. Insights are captured from thousands of New Zealanders through regular surveys, and the information is made available to marketers through membership to this site. Rather than simply provide a rigorous report of Kiwi attitudes every twelve months, we wanted to create a virtual hub of knowledge that people can access from anywhere. Put simply, we have built this part of our site to make the reports an interactive experience for you.

This site will allow you to make your own segmentation, either by age or gender at the click of a mouse to make the insights more relevant to you. You can view comments from other professionals about the insights they have seen, share your views on the graphs and engage in discussions with others about the attitudes of the New Zealand consumer.

Attitude NZ was designed purely for Kiwi marketers to gain a regular and independent snapshot of how New Zealanders feel, how their attitudes are being affected and how they view various issues. Perceptive know that Kiwi marketers are information poor, and that gathering information can be expensive – we did our research ;-).

Perceptive have worked closely with both CAANZ and PRINZ to ensure that the information and the delivery elements of the site will add value to marketers at any level in their respective organisation whether you are clients side or within an agency.

Access

Access to the Attitude New Zealand information is free. By registering to this website you gain access to all general information as well as having the ability to make comments and interact with other New Zealand marketers. Perceptive will hold your details confidentially and communicate with you via monthly email updates.

Terms of Use

The information held within the site is not to be broadcasted without prior consent by Perceptive.

Membership is for the individual and is not to be shared or distributed with others without prior consent by Perceptive.

About the Survey

The Attitude New Zealand report provides a six monthly snapshot of the opinions and feelings of 1000 New Zealanders with ages ranging from 15 to 65-plus and annual incomes ranging from below $20,000 to more than $150,000. The report is stratified against the census and boasts very robust significance, with a margin of error just 2.3%.

The report also contains the first ever New Zealand Stress Index showing what factors are causing New Zealanders most stress in their lives, and the resulting impact that this will have on their behaviour over the next six months.

The study focuses on three main categories:

Finance:
The report uncovers the stress levels of New Zealanders, the confidence they have in banks, what they are planning to spend their money on, as well as their spending behaviour in online and traditional retail environments.

Technology:
The report reveals internet and mobile phone usage, along with New Zealanders' online shopping and banking behaviour, as well as their levels of trust in e-commerce sites. The growth and trends of social media are examined, including platforms used and who uses them.

Brands:
There is an in depth focus on brands across 15 different sectors including airlines, banks, retailing, ISP, cars, universities, health care. Mobile telephones, entertainment, TV channels and TV programmes. The report looks at people's connections with brands, including top of mind awareness, needs and wants.
