Sapien has pioneered new technology to measure shopper behaviour, helping redefine New Zealand retailer Frucor Suntory’s shopper marketing strategy.
After recognising that customer experience could be improved and sales optimised, the next step was to test how to best achieve these objectives. To do this, they used new camera technology to objectively measure traffic, attention span, emotional response, and, the demographics of shoppers. This enabled new insights to be collected, without capturing any of the shopper’s personal information.
