In May, Perceptive’s General Manager, Oliver Allen, spoke to a small crowd of B2B and B2C marketers about brand growth at the 2022 NZ Tech Marketers Conference.
"Over the last 12-24 months a lot of data has become available on what effective B2B marketing looks like, and we now know that in the B2B marketing landscape brand building is essential for future growth. If we’re only marketing to active buyers we’re ignoring large swathes of the market and limiting our ability to grow,” says Oliver. “Building a connection between your brand and the known category entry points, with all buyers, is critical. This is why the strategic mentality of B2B marketers needs to be much more similar to that of their B2C colleagues."
